5 year old Arabian Gelding! :)

This is my boy Dante. :)
He's a 5 year old purebred Arabian gelding.
He has not been rode yet (well, nothing physically demanding), so lacks muscle.
Soon I'm going to have to start ACTUALLY working with him - lately I've been so busy... sigh. Oh he's up for sale by the way for anyone interested, because of lack of time. Asking $2000 OBO.
ANYWAYS BACK ON TOPIC... critique his confo please! :) Any thoughts or opinions on him are appreciated as well.

He's a real cutie and seems to be put together pretty well. Those shots are a bit hard to critique because theres no great standing from the side shot. I do like his neck, it's a little high set for me but he is an Arab.

One comment though...all his falters seem huge on him! The fit around the nose is too big, at least for my tastes.

Yeah I'm going to upload some better photos in a bit.

And yes, you are very right... the black halter isn't his, those were taking on the first few days I bought him, so he used my old OTTBs halter until I got him a new one... and the blue one, was also another one of my other horses halters, I only put it on him for the photo... because I like the colour blue on him. HAHA.

I am not very knowledgeable about Arabs, but he looks to be very nicely put together. He reaches well under himself in the pictures showing him moving.
There is some overdevelopment of the under side of his neck, maybe from running with his head up braced against the bit, but it's minor and he has a nice long neck that will help in balance. Very cute horse!

He looks a little long backed to me. His neck is pretty thick, but long.
He's really cute! He would be a good little hunter ;)
