7 y/o TB mare- possible purchase.

I looked at the grey in my previous thread, but she was back at the knee, so I decided not to get her.

I looked at this mare today. Supposedly she wasn't raced because she got an injury and she got behind on training. She does have a scar on her leg, but she appears to be really sound and her owner said she hasn't even seen her not sound. Its on the outside of a rear leg.

This mare has been off work for about 6 months, so she is PHAT. Lol
I did ride her, and she is pretty green, but definitely easy and willing. I also took her over a cross rail and she is a cute little jumper. Her movement was a little more choppy than I like, but with some work I think she'd put more effort into it.

So overall, I like this mare. I don't think I LOVE her, but she is fairly cheap and I do see some potential. Pass or go for it?

Her front pasterns look very odd, very spindly in that picture but I'm not sure if that's the mare or the exposure in the photo. She looks like she's on tippy toes.

Tiny feet in comparison to her size, and she appears to be over at the knee.

She looks to have a nice angle to her shoulder, although her head looks too big for her neck.

There's nothing horribly wrong with her, but those small feet on that chunky body worry me.

Would you be able to get some better photos? from those general shots, it's hard to tell what her conformation is really like. I suggest also vetting her to make sure that whatever that injury she had, will in fact keep her sound. There are a few things I am concerned about when looking at the photo, but I rather re-assess that once you post some good conformation photos than the ones you've already posted.

Thank you two very much for taking the time to reply.

I decided to pass on this mare. I didn't really fall in love with her, and I don't NEED a horse today. Sooo the search continues :)
