    Adopting Lizzy ....

    I found this horse on a local rescue site. She is 12 and broke to ride, that's all it really said about her. I sent them an email asking for more info. What do you guys think of her.




    I'll post more info as I get it.

    First off, good for you. I love to hear about people rescueing horses. I think her color is quite lovely and I really like her face. She will need some groceries and lots of muscle. Make sure you're easy with her and make sure you don't go by what you know of her or what you are told. There is never a way to know for sure what their history is, the last thing we want to hear is you getting hurt.

    M2G.... I totally understand what you are getting at, we would be starting from scratch. I received an e-mail from the rescue place and Lizzy was adopted the day before yesterday....Wednesday. Good for Lizzy!!!!!!!!! I hope it will be a forever home! I was in love with her face! I'll keep looking guess she wansn't meant for me.

    It is hard to critique, but with a bit of work, she'll look great! I also love hearing about rescues. :)
