Aha! New show pictures for you to critique!

Critique both horse and rider please.

Only things not to critique (because I realize the wrongness in these and am currently working on fixing it) on is our:

-huge-super-long-far take offs,
-my jumping ahead/being too far out of saddle,
-my non-existant releases (caught in the moment of trying to keep him from going into mach 3.)

Anything else is fair game! :)

No critique as I don't know much about proper english riding/jumping but he is a gorgeous horse and you look like you were having fun. :)

The only thing that sticks out at me is that he looks like he is taking off a long way away from the jumps in some of the pictures.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Thank you, and we had a blast. :)
Haha and you are definitely right about the take off distance, yes, we were flying around the course, and I was too focused on other things than to get him to collect and take off correctly, and most of all I was just elated that we got over them with no refusals.

Ok, you guys look pretty good. You look like you are sitting hard in the saddle in some of the photographs, try to sit lighter in the saddle and turn your wrists out, you've got them turned in.

It looks like your jumping ahead and you need to release more. Your legs look pretty good except in 2 of the pics they have slid back a bit.
Your horse is GORGEOUS! And it looked like you had fun :)

Thank you, and yes! SHOULDERS! AH! My biggest downfall right there.

Ok, and also it's no big deal but I put at the top that there is no need to bring up my long take offs, jumping ahead, or my non-existant releases. I realize all of that and am trying to work on it.
Thank you though. :)

it's ok, thanks for pointing it out anyways. :)
Maybe if enough people call me out on it it will provide greater incentive for fixing it.
