    AQHA Possible Purchase

Peppy Vegas King, coming 4 year old AQHA Gelding

His personality is to die for. Will come running when he sees you at the gate. Lots of spunk, great project for an experienced person. I've ridden him and he knows a lot already (including neck reining) but he does need to be finished and he still has some "baby attitude". I like him for hunter on the flat & maybe western pleasure? He is about 15.2 or so. His birthday is October 15th (my dad's birthday! ).

He is owned by my BO and has been his whole life. He's for sale, and I've sort of taken him on as my "project" but I've started getting attached to him and my BO says I ought to make him an offer, hehe. I am seriously considering it. What do you think?

Oh I guess I should mention his feet are needing trimming. My basic questions are his conformation, his eligibility in the aforementioned disciplines, and whether anyone sees any red flags? Is there anything I should expect to NOT be able to do with him, if I decide to purchase him? He has a long back so I feel jumping may be too strenuous for him... any other opinions?

I would love to see a picture of his front legs AFTER his feet are trimmed. His pastern angle looks good not, but may be really upright when his hoof angle gets corrected.
What is his breeding? Is he out of the Peppy San Badger line? Breeding / bloodlines do contribute a lot to a horse's natural ability and makes them more suited to certain disciplines over others.
