Arabian mare critique-Guess the age game too!

So I was contacted by someone who is looking for a good forever home for an arabian mare. They are a small breeding facility looking to preserve some old Gainey lines. They bought her and her full sister intending to breed them to their stallion, but it turns out that she has silent heats and never settled. She has been sitting in the pasture ever since.
A little on her past further back: She is very broke and was used at least twice in western pleasure demonstrations at the Midwest Horse Fair. I went to see her this morning and I love her. She just has a calm and warm feel to her. If I were to liken it to a fabric (I know, I'm weird. :D ) she would be fleece. For comparison, Deja would be denim and Mana would be some fuzzy woven material.
Anyway. I am going back to test ride her soon, but for now, these are the only photos I have of her. I don't know what it is about the photos, but her withers are NOT like that in real life. Guess how old she is! I'll put up her pedigree in a bit. Pick her apart and let me here what you think!

Well with arabians it's always hard to tell age because they do it so well! but my guess would be somewhere around 16?

She has a pretty face, a sweet and kind expression. I do like her shoulder and front legs, that weird wither is throwing me though. It could be just that her neck ties in lower than it should at the top. She is lacking muscle on her topline and croup so that looks less than it should. To me it looks like she doesn't have enough angulation in her hind legs.

Age, I would guess about 18.

I have to say, in person, her withers aren't as bad as these photos. She is VERY narrow, though. I'm used to my wide front ended arab, so she was a bit of a shock. The owner even said that she would like to see another 25-30 lbs on her, but she is also in pasture condition, so I'm not thinking it will not take much to get her muscley and pretty again.

And drum roll please........she is.................................................... 22!
Here is her pedigree. All Breed Pedigree Query

I'd still like to get opinions on her confo. too, so don't be shy!

She's pretty cute, I'm a sucker for bays! She reminds me of a bay at the arab farm where I ride.
Do you plan on riding her?

Yup! She is going to be my new trail buddy hopefully. Nothing like exercise to keep an arab young! :D

Equiniphile, Yeah, I am pleasantly suprised that no one else guessed in the 20's. This makes me happy!

I kind of figured that she was older, given that you asked us to guess her age...tehehe. My mom has an Arab that is the same age as her, and looks fantastic as well...more like a plump 15 year old than an horse in his 20's. Haha.

I am not a fan of her super high withers, and her shoulder is a bit steep, and her rear legs aren't as angular as I would like, but that said, her faults are nothing that should hinder her in anyway as a trail horse. She's got a beautiful face, and a lovely kind eye...I say steal her up, before I do!!! haha

M2P, it's great to hear about everyone's older arabs going strong still. I love that Arabians last forever. I almost would say that a 20 year old arabian is equal to a 15 year old of another breed, they just age so well. That's why I did not think twice about her being 22.
I am almost positive that I am going to take her. She is just what I am looking for. I am going to test her under saddle and say for sure then. Though I don't have any doubt that she will do great! I will post more pics when I get them. Wish me luck!

Okay! Got more pictures of her the other day. She is a bit rusty (and so was her rider, so please pardon that. :) )as it was her first time being ridden in 5 or six years but they say she did great. She tacked up fine and was ready to go except for a little confusion when asked to go faster, but after she warmed up she was fine. Here are some pics, let me know what you think!

And this is her sire, Gai Pissarro:

That's not me riding, but yeah, she still has some spice in her. :D I am almost positive I am getting her at this point. I don't see any reason not to to be honest.
I'm so excited!!

Over all pretty mare for pleasure. Her face is gentle and expression is adorable! This may sound rude but I'm glad that she wasn't settling, she isn't something I'd like to see bred. She has no real outstanding attributes to pass along. People seem to look less and less at the whole picture of a horse and WHY they are choosing to breed the horse before they get turn-out happy with a mare and stallion. I like her face and parts of her front end. I am seeing faults like steep angles, high withers (and the big dip down in front of the withers) medium/low neck set, and a little less length in the neck than I'd like to see on an Arabian.

This doesn't hinder her from having a pretty face, nice temperament and making a great trail horse - just not something that I'd place in a breeding barn! She looks like a sweety, age wise I'll guess 20?
