    Athena needs a critique! :D

Athena is my 11 y/o registered American Warmblood (1/2 TB, 1/4 Arabian, 1/4 Oldenburg) mare. She was a twin, so that's why she's only 15.1 hh. She loves to jump, and is an absolute speed demon! In the fall and warmish winter days, I go to the beach along Lake Michigan and let her stretch her legs. She's a great trail horse, not afraid of anything. I bought her when she was 7, and she was veeeery green still. Had no idea how to back up, bucked hardcore when you tried to canter her etc etc, but she's come a long way. :)

These first four photos are from a year or two ago
I realize that her halter is too big, and that she needs her feet done
And she apparently has a long back

    These last two are recent
She's standing on a hill with the one where Jesse is sitting on her

Sorry no critique from me... what a very cute mare though! Just be careful leaving a lead around a horse's legs... I've seen that go very badly before! I know she seems relaxed, but just felt compelled to say that :)
Sounds like she's a fun mare to own!

The only flaw I could pick out is her long back and very slight downhill build, but her hind end ties in so well and she's built so smoothly that it really doesn't detract. Beautiful mare!

Gawd, I'm a sucker for that color of horse! :P

My only critique I have is that her hooves look as they need
trimmed up a bit in the first picture. Beautiful Horse!!!

Well, she seems a bit downhill, and her back is long, which you already knew. But overall, she's really pretty. And that's so cool that she was a twin!

    She's very pretty!

Very pretty. Now is jesse really tall or is the horse short? She seems around 14.2 ---14.3.

She looks like having a long back, but she's very cute. Love her head.

    No jesse is about 5'6"
Athena is just a shorty at 15.1
    And tbh i'm 5'10"
