Bareback - critique my riding?

I rode charlie bareback today
(had to put two saddle pads with a roller on him because he has stupidly high withers and a boney back lol)
As you can see it took me a while to get on...he was being stubborn and wouldnt stand close enough to the
Jumping block so I had to move it to him, then I didnt have the energy to jump high enough to get on.
I can usually get on fine from the jumping blocks, don't know what was wrong with me today lol.
Oh and he jumped a trotting pole when I asked him to walk over it...thats exactly why I don't jump him,
If he jumps trotting poles imagine how high he leaps actual jumps... lol funny horse.
Anyway yeah, critique my riding please?
