He came to me thin, and and had a little snotty nose. I kept him seperate for 8 weeks and put him in with my horses. My horses got a little cold too, but nothing to bad. He was so worth it. He is a very sweet horse.
Second, that is awesome that you rescued him from Camelot. I have been crossposting their weekly sale page each week on Wednesdays after the sale to try to help in the process of each and everyone of them getting bailed out of the kill pen. I'm glad to see one of those horsey's not only out of the kill pen but happy and healthy. You just put a huge smile on my face.
When I have the chance to rescue my next one I hope to get it from the Camelot sale or another rescue in lower PA that I think is very reputable. What is his temperament like? Did he have any other health issues besides low weight?
