Can you get anything from this video? :)

This is my weird hunter/dressage/whatever riding. Hopefully you can even critique any of this. Each clip is played twice, once at regular speed and once in slow mo.

What I see:
-Leaning forward. I guess I got that from riding hunter. I have to literally mentally correct it when I'm riding
-Heels. For some reason (maybe crappy dressage lessons) I haven't been sinking into my heels nearly as much as I should. Maybe I'm gripping with my thighs? I know its not my knees though.
-Wide hands. Also picked up from HUS.

OMG. I lean SO much esp. at the canter. No wonder he is weird in that gait. Lmao.

Eliz,

It's really hard to see much because the video is so jiggly. And it's hard to see you leg , due to the lighting.

One thing I see pretty consistently is that you are hunching over and around your core; kind of curling up. This makes the elbows go out .
If you work on openning up your chest this will help a lot of other things.
you want to be able to feel a little pull at your collar bone. Dont' force your elbows back, rather let them fall DOWN toward your hipbones. When you feel that pull at the collar bone, that is good. try to keep that pull feeling all the time.

Lol I kind of am in a fetal position, aren't I?? I promise he is not a monster to ride :P

That pull at the collarbone is familiar! Great advice, thanks!
