Charlie and I Jumping

Feel free to critique both he and I:

And here's an attempt at a confo pic, I know it's not good, but take what you can from it:

Thanks in advance!

Your leg has slipped back a tad and your jumping ahead a bit too.
Wait for yourself to come to you rather than trying to jump the jump for him. lol
Pull your shoulder back a little bit.
It might just be me, but your reins look a little short?

Overall you look pretty good!

I'm sorry, but the "confo" pic is wayyy to dark for me to see... and well I'm not wearing my glasses either... but yeah. lol

I used to be such a burning example,
I used to be so original.
I used to care, I was being cared for.

I really like your position, just dig your heels down beore the jump so your legs don't slip back and they stay good over the jump and try not to jump for him, don't throw yourself forwards.. but I like it

i like your position. it does look a little like you are leaning a little on his neck though. your legs really arent too bad. i would say heels down a little more though and i do agree with you jumping ahead of him a bit. try and wait more for the movement of his jumping to signal your 2 point.

other than that you 2 look great ;) can see the confo pic though sorry. my monitor is kinda dark and the dark shot means its completely black for me :)

shoulders back
ur toe is out
your leg has slipped back...not drastically though
it looks like youre leening on his neck, but that may just be the pic
Youre jumping ahead, but again not 'drasitcally' so just fix that little thing

overall. it looks like youve got the basics down and a fairly solid position. just fix those little things and you'll be good as gold

You are pinching with your kness which has caused your leg to slip too far back and your body to be ahead of his motion. Start jumping without stirrups and it will really help your position.

Also your confo pic is taken at a bad angle, it makes his butt look smaller than it is and makes his throatlatch look huge, but I don't think that is how he really is. He looks like he may actually have nice conformation, but you can't tell at all from the pic.
