5yr/16h AQHA mare - she's pretty cute
5 yr old sorrel AQHA registered Mare. Nita Jo Ann aka Bell, is around 16 hands. Is perfectly healthy with no soundness issues. Has great feet. Goes english or western, but would make a better english horse. This horse cross-ties like a dream and will stand forever. She will clip but is sensitive with her ears. Loads well. This horse has no rear, buck, bite or kick in her. I've mostly ridden Bell out on trails and she's done fine with everything. Running horses, cows, water, noisy kids, dogs, construction, ect. Doesn't bother her at all. I've trailered her out to ride and she did really well with that. Just plods along. She's not a hot horse but she does have GO when you want it. She's very responsive to leg cues. She'll turn on the haunches and forehand both directions and will also sidepass. I haven't done a whole lot of ringwork with her, but when I do I have her coming into the bit and bending at the pole at the walk and trot. She has a pretty good foundation with that, but is still green at the canter in the ring since I haven't done it enough. She's great to canter out on the trail, will pick up the lead you ask for, will go as fast as you want, will stop when you want, and doesn't get hyper about it. She's a great horse that has a lot of potential with the right rider. Experienced horse person only as she is young and sensitive with cues. Will only go to a good home.
