Hi! I'm just curious if my pony mare, Star, has good conformation and would like a good critique, and if you think she would do alright in small local 4H halter or showmanship classes? I know she's pretty good at driving and we've won in that class quite a bit, but I've been thinking about trying some halter classes with her since she's such a good girl. :) How do you think she'd do? I will also be posting another thread for a critique of her filly's confo soon, too, so watch out for that :)
Star is a Shetland Pony. She is 11 years old and had a filly named Misty in April, 2011.

As for conformation, she's a bit chubby, but that's an easy fix. She is somewhat butt high and stretched out in the back legs.
Also, not sure if it's just the way she's standing, but her hind feet appear to be really wide apart and she's leaning a little back on her front end.

Haha yes.. I always get scolded for my pony being "buttery" at shows... :P... I'll work on it!
