I'm not the most knowledgeable person in the horse conf field, but he looks pretty good to me! His knees line up well with his forearm which should provide the least amount of strain on his tendon and he should stay sound for the most part. Though there isn't a pic that would properly display this, he doesn't seem base narrow or base wide which is good. His hocks seem in proper position. He doesn't have an ewe neck nor a bull neck. His back is nice. Everything seems good to me! :)

Thank you :)
Glad you think his confo. looks good xD

I don't mind if its not perfect or great, just good enough to ride, and to not get injuries ;)

Think its worth the drive?

Yah know what? I really do think it's worth it. 3 hours isn't too too bad and I mean he seem like a great guy. He seems like the good family horse type. A horse that could teach you and that you could relax on. He seems really healthy too so yeh. :)

I would go for it.. oh and great price too.

I think he looks good, quite a deal for 2k. If anything, I would say his neck lacks definition (no clear difference as the neck leads into the shoulder/chest, withers not too defined) and his throat latch is a little thick. His barrel is also somewhat large but I think if he lost some weight it would help with his neck and barrel some.

apc11196 -- its my mom driving, and she isn't a horse person ;P So, I would have to be extremely interested to drive that far.. haha
He sounds really good though xD

roro -- I see what you mean.. he is a bit overweight ;] But, yeah, I could work on that, and he would lose weight/gain muscle :)

thanks guys xD

I was just going to point out the barrel belly I like to call it but that can always be working on. He doesn't look off or lopsided and he stands calm it looks like. He's very pretty! I think he just needs to get back in shape and you can do that easy!

The Percheron Thoroughbred thingy I personally don't like... but he looks like he is quiet and level headed in the photos. By his breeding he can really have some get up and go, but I don't see that in the videos at all.

In the photos it looks like he has a rope burn on his hind right area down by the hoof. Or that could just be them shaving a little to close to the skin with a shaver.

that dog was really cute in the creek crossing video!

I dont know if it was just me, but at times his trot seemed off in the jumping video. It could have been the ground he was one (not level) but I did see that.

He does look like a very calm horse though. Im not going to say anything on confo since I feel Im not knowledgeable enough in that area.

The owners emailed me back.. anf here are a few key points:
- we have found out yesterday, that he is a bit herd-bound. He tried a little crowhop in argument(feet didn't make it far off the ground), but corrected him, and he was good.
- owner has had him for about 2months, but personal issues force sale.
- previous owners say he was used for jumping lessons, we lunged him over jumps, and he seems a bit rusty, but I'm guessing he hasn't been lunged over them before.
- blue is very quiet, but has not been worked much the last 2-3 yrs. His previous owner was pregnant, so his only exercise was her children riding him.
- When trying him out, when I asked for the canter, he got excited and went a little quick, but slowed him down, and he cantered nice, slow circles.
- Blue has scratches on his hind leg, vet put cream on, but he had an allergic reaction, and it made it worse.. cleaning it, and treating it with MTG, and it's improving.

thanks guys xD
