Confo please?!

I am trying to learn about conformation. Like shoulder angle and pasterns and such. I really have no clue. Rose is my 9yr old Qtr/perch (We think) cross. I could not get her to square up to save my life, in the one picture I thought I had her square she is standing under herself, but her hind end looked ok in that picture. Plus sorry about the tail, hard to take pictures. Oh and please don't critique my angry face! Lol!

Please be honest, I love her anyway. I use her for trails and some arena work. She is out of shape as she has not been worked hard for the past few months. We are just starting to get back into shape together...

Love the big solid feet! Her neck is very thick and her throatlatch coarse, but she has nice thick legs and good shoulder and pastern angles. Her back legs seem to be a tad post-legged, but it's hard to tell from the pics. Her head is so big and cute haha!

WOW !!!! Your horse is very pretty,
She is very stocky, and she has a very thick neck, which makes a horse look very nice im not quite sure but she looks VERY muscely and she has a nice shaped face as well.

Good Luck with your horse

Sidmit,
She is a brick house! I love that kind of horse. She can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan and still be the love of your life!
Long of body, (who cares?), heavy neck and thick throatlatch, head a bit oversized. Really nice legs, straight, clean short canons. Good shoulder and not post legged. Really a well built horse that has the conformation to last for a long time. She;s a Land Rover!

Lol! You made me laugh. I needed that! Thanks! She is a brick house. I like a horse that makes my bootie look smaller.

I like her. She's not perfect, but then again, I have yet to find a horse that actually is. I like that she's solid, she's not going to break if you do a rough ride. She will definitely hold up long term. Her head is a little big, and her neck a little short, but all in all, she fits together. She looks like the same horse all around.
