Please tear him apart xD

I know he ain't perfect by any means, but I lurve him!

Right side, dark picture, standing funny.

Left side, almost square.

Right side, dark again, but almost square.

Left side again.

Front, legs.

Rear, sorry stall in the way.

Ok that is all of them.

For reference, he is a 20 year old, 16hh Canadian Thoroughbred.

Also since these pictures were taken he has gained more weight and been wormed so he isn't ribby anymore.

Yeah he just got put back in serious training a few weeks ago. He had almost three months off of no riding or work. He was dropping weight horribly through winter so we pulled him out of work which caused him to drop almost all this muscle as well.

This was what he looked like about 6 weeks ago. Winter=bad!

Thank you though! We are hoping to work his muscle back up gradually. He already looks better than the photos, they are just the most recent ones I have.

Its strange how much he looks likie my gelding, Stetson!

I'm just getting back into all this horse stuff (Someone correct me if I'm wrong!), but the few little things I see is that he's a bit too straight in the hind legs, he seems a little toed out in the front and back, and I think his shoulder is a bit too steep. Also, he has high withers, but since you are exercising and training him, you will probably start to see that improve. My Stetson has very high withers and I know I have a heck of a time fitting a saddle to him! They either slip back or sit right on his withers.

Your guy is very cute though! For 20 he is looking very good, even if he is a bit skinny. Looks like you have done well to get him back on track though! (Its amazing how they can look so raggedy in the winter with their long coats and so beautiful in the summer!)

Thanks guys!

Yeah the stalls aren't quite done yet. We plan to finish them before winter hits again so that we can stall him this time around. We hope that if he is stalled and wears two blankets he will hold weight better. Last winter was really stressful for everyone cause he wouldn't hold weight.

Hey nordic could you pm me some pics of your stalls? and where you got your materials? we have to build some more stalls and are thinking about using a preexhisting barn similar to what you have.

As for your guy WOW he looks great! Much better than the other pic.. Nice job of bringing him back. Keep it up!

Thanks again guys.

Stacieandtheboys, I will get some pics next time I go out to see him, he isn't at my house. I will have to ask where they got the materials. I will let you know asap.

Also the credit goes to eventerwannabe for getting his weight back up.
