My Aunt keeps telling me Romeo would do good in some grade horse confo classes and showmanship classes. Im 99.9 percent sure he is Appendix QH but either way he has no papers or anything so grade is the only class I could do. Im not sure but he decent looking...figure ill put up the two best picture I have of him...both are sorta old, he has filled out better since I took them but they are the only good confo shots I have. What do you think?
Thank You! And yes he has always been a bit pencil necked but the ewed-ness of it is gone since he's put on weight...this is an old pic I need new ones but thank you very much!
He is very cute. No white, I love that! It's funny, I love the loudest colored pintos and then the solid no white horses... =P
Besides his thin neck, which you say is gone, he seems like he is a good looking horse. At first I wished that he had a large hind end, but then decided that it fits him and his body seems to be pretty balanced.
I say go for it! You will never know until you try! I think he will look absolutely gorgeous all clipped and pretty... Take pictures and let us know how it goes! =]
Thank you guys! Ill try and get some new pictures up soon...also does anyone have a good way of helping make him more black? These were from spring right after he shed but he has bleached out through the summer...
I already use quick black shampoo which does help but is there anything else?
Also thanks for the comments...im surprised everyone thinks he's so pretty lol I guess its cause I remember what he looked like when I first got him...lol all lanky and high withered
I know there are a few supplements that claim to make the coat black again. But I know they are more expensive then I would want to pay...
I have heard you can give them a small amount of vegetable oil in their feed and that is supposed to help. Also keeping a fly sheet with UV protection can help prevent it bleaching out.
