He's a 5 year old 15.1hh QH blue roan. Tell me all you think about his conformation. He began his training in Western but was not finished, I plan to see how he goes riding English (I would love to teach him to jump and see how he goes) and if he does alright get him some training from there.
I love his color!
To me, he seems to be quite sound, with a nice croup. The thing I don't like is that his neck muscles on the lower side of his neck look quite distinct.
Normally QH's fill out fast, but for some reason he still looks younger than 5. I really like him, he looks like a QH! I think he can benefit to lose a few pounds and add some muscle. Try to get some without his saddle.
Oh my! He's adorable! I love his little fox-ears! The only thing that stands out to me is a shorter than ideal nech with a thick throatlatch. Other than that it' shard to say much without gear-less pics.
Thanks for the views guys. Yeah, he hasn't been worked too much so he will lose a little weight and gain a little more muscle now he's going to be worked regularly. He is quite stout and his neck is shorter and thicker, although this is something I love about him. I'm not huge on quarter horses aesthetically speaking, and I loved thick he seemed.
Thanks for all the comments
