    Please critique this mare.

She's a 6 year old QH mare. Reining bred.

    Oooh pretty horse!
She seems to have a rather ugly neck, like it's too skinny compared to her head/body. In that photo, she is standing under herself, and her legs look posty. Her croup is really steep and she has prominant withers (which I actually prefer to nonexistant withers, lol).

Over all I think she's a well-made little horse, and I just love her color! I definitealy see "reiner" when I look at her! :)

Random, but her star matches the horse's in your avatar ;)

    Thanks!!!

I think part of it is the mane on that side, if she wasn't a reiner I'd cut it off ahha.

I actually like her neck a little more when I see her in person, definitely on the thinner side probably but when your under saddle it looks a little nicer. Or at least less noticeable.

I agree with you on the withers, so many reiners don't have that its actually a nice thing, at least for the stopping it tends to keep them looser up front.

Here's some proofs of her stopping (ignore the last one haha)

Why does it look like her front legs are crossed? She's pretty.

No kidding I never even noticed it till you mentioned it and now it bothers me.

Let me tell you I have yet to see her stand like that, although I haven't seen her very much since I had to go back to University for the week.

Wow! Loved the reining photos. Her neck definitely looks normal in those photos :)

Lovely girl, is she a possible purchase??
