A couple of funny xc photos!

This was at pony club in November... it was hilarious! Thought everyone could get a kick out of this :)
Poor Scooby isn't trying to be nasty, his old owner (who had him from when he was 4-10) always just wanted to go really fast and jump really high. She was a terrible rider and neglected him sooo badly.
So now I'm in the process of teaching him gallopping to jumps is BAD... a steady canter is GOOD! LOL

First photo - he has all four feet off the ground and his head in between his legs! Hahaha that was after going up some steps so he just got faster and faster... lol

Second photo - that's him putting the foot down after the fist jump in a line of three. Lol. Needless to say, we flew over the second one and only just made it, then skipped the third.

We are now in the process of cross country training :) Wish me luck!

LOL. I like that first pic, it looks like he is trying to buck you off.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Lol skipping horsie! He's sorta doing a half-buck-run-and-jump-go-crazy-excited thing bahaha.
Actually it wasn't so much of a buck, just sorta jumping in mid air for the fun of it :P
