Talking critigue my horse

I have a 5 year old thoroughbred mare! Currently I am just trail riding her and working on walk trot and cantering! She knows how to stop back pivet and she has wonderful ground manners! I was wondering if you guys think she would make it as a barrel horse! She is 16.2 hands and she is very willing and smart!! Tell me about how her comformation looks, and everything else thanks!! I know she needs more weight she looks alot better!
Here are some pics of her

Here is a pic when I first got her

I have a 14h arabian that I trained to do barrels and everyone thought she should be in the pleasure ring! Well my arabian gypsy took me to state and we placed 4th over all in contest classic at the fair! The funny thing is we were the smallest ones there. The other horses were 15hs or higher quarter horses!!
