Critique ANOTHER possible buy

I don't mean to clog the boards with my threads, but the last thread had a couple horses on it and in an effort to get comments just on the new horse / have her noticed I'ma start a new one.
In short, I'm looking for an eventer with potential to move onto pre-training, maybe training, but as it is I'm starting at the lower levels and so I'm looking for a younger horse to bring along myself (mostly because I haven't come across anything older that suits me in my price range).

This is a 5 yr old APHA mare, I'll just quote the ad for you.
Dixie is 15.3 hand, 5 year old Reg paint mare. She has a year of showing under her belt in both english and western. Year end champion at Mission horse club and Junior horse champion at LMQHA were just 2 of the many championships she won. She also placed 4th in BC in junior handy horse.
She has more english experience than western.
She is very responsive and soft in the mouth. A real joy to ride. She has an amazing mind, very level headed and has learned everything she has been taught extremely easily. She is great on trails and roads and not spooky! Clips, baths, trailers, great for farrier. No vices! 100% sound and always has been! She has recently started doing small jumps. She loves to jump! Doesn't bat an eye at anything! Has been on cross country and loves it! Also loves the water.
If not sold, she will be doing small events this season. Recently started doing consistent lead changes.
Dixie would be perfect for a confident young or older rider that can take her further with her promising career. Would make a great pony club mount. She can do it all!
Reason for sale is that I cannot afford to show her at a higher level. She is needs someone who wants to take her further and still treat her like the queen she is. Good home is a must!
The pictures aren't the best BUT there are 2 videos as well.

2 videos there!

Another BC'er. She's a cutie pie. What are they asking for her?

From the same area of BC too, crazy.

They're asking $4500 but open to offers, I wouldn't go that high- she's been up for awhile, so the price is obviously a bit high, I think.

I would go look at her at least. Try her over some fences and a CC course if they have one on the property.
She seems to be pretty responsive under saddle, and is what you are looking for.

A horse this nice for that price that has been 'up for awhile' raises red flags to me. I want to say, 'Is it the market or is there somethign wrong?' YES look at her. YES ride her. And YES spend good money on a prepurchase exam that includes soup to nuts.

If she is as she appears I would not hestate to buy her if she passes the vet (and your riding her and seeing her in person).

My daughter's in is the English Pleasure video at the Heritage show shot in Chilliwack, too cool! The winner of that class is a student of my instructor, I remember watching that class!
