8 year old mare, Not sure what her breed is, all they gave me was her dad and moms picture both saying "pinto." I think she is part quarter horse. Coach thinks she has saddlebred some where in her. But anyways let me know her conformation, she is a barrel racer but currently doing english for fun, starting up barrels again next year.

It was REALLY hot and humid today so she is a little sweaty!

Oh, I know what you mean about the weather! Thermometer says 96F today

First of all, she's gorgeous. Just had to put that out there :). As for her conformation, I like her. Her pasterns are a tad short, but she looks to have clean legs and a nice overall shape. Her withers are rather underpronounced, but that could be due to the fact that I'm used to my Paso Fino, who has impossibly high withers. Her neck is nicely arched, her shoulder a little too upright, but she has a good overall build. There's something about her bum, though, that I can't quite put my finger on. It's like there's no point of the croup, almost....

Psst--I LOVE that blue eye!

Haha thanks! She has 2 blue eyes actually! That's what caught me when I first met her but she can be quite the handful lol! It was REALLY hard for me to get a good squared picture of her bum but her bum is very round!

And I don't know what 96 F is but its about 37 C here! Lol

Wow! She's so pretty!

Her shoulder is a bit upright. I think her withers could be a bit higher, bit I don't think it's tat big of a deal. My horse wishes he had legs like your girl (his back pasterns are quite dropped, but they don't really affect him). I really like her overall build. I might be wrong on this bit her shoulder seems a bit off... Not sure though. She looks like a great horse!

Thanks, I suck at the conformation thing so what do you guys mean by shoulder is upright? I feel silly not knowing any of this >.<

ALSO if someone has a thought of what breed she might be, tell me! I'm always interested!

She does look like she has a lot of Saddlebred in her, but I don't see any Quarter horse. Maybe it is the light, but she looks just a tad heavy. I can't see any bones, which I guess is a good thing, lol. All I know is that she is so pretty!! Can I use that third pic as my desktop wallpaper? I love it!

Shes got a bit of a hay belly from the winter and lost some of her muscle! :( But i'm working her alot now except for the past few days before it has been WAY to hot. But i'd rather her show nothing then something. Before when I first got her she was extremely ribby and just a mess, dull coat, matted hair etc!

Haha go for it, just make sure if anyone sees your desktop and asks, her name is Harmony ;) hahaha!

She's a good weight, nice rounded bum.
She has nice internesting markings which is always a good thing.
Her ears are quite large which is a sign of a good temprement.
He neck could possibly be a tad longer and thicker and her chest is a bit under developed for my liking.
She has good clean sturdy legs.
Overall she looks like a good little horse :)
