Critique Dun Mare

This sweet little filly was a rescue, She is three years old this year and has sadly already had a filly (Weaned by the time I got the mare). Shes a gorgeous dun, Spunky personality but very sweet, friendly & nosy. She has a gorgeous little western jog she drops her head naturally down for in the pasture as well as a wild woman trot racing gait with her tail strait up! Shes a character. Would love opinions, critiques on her conformation, your first thoughts on her and what she'd look good at. She is in the process of finishing weight gain and has not been worked with in the lines of muscling, She is just about to be started under saddle. I was told she has AQHA, ABHR, IBHA papers but that is a mess and she is 15 hands tall.

She has a long back, a very flat croup, and a thick throatlatch. It looks like she may have a slight roach back and something about her cheeks looks odd. I like her legs, they are long and straight. She has got a nice big butt and she has a really cute face. I don't know what she would be good at but she is very cute. I love her coloring.

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Holy Cow!! She's already had a baby!? Poor girl...
She looks fine to me, but she does have something funky going on with her cheeks... is that the fur or are they just that big? I don't think her back is too long.. i just think she has a short neck and a large head... well, its not really large, its just very thick i guess. She is very pretty, I like her a lot! what are your plans with her as far as riding?

You can't have her!! I want her. I love Dun horses anyway.

She is so cute. I love her head and sweet face though she doesn't look real happy about that saddle on her back..
looks like a Mustang. And what a powerful rearend.. She looks as though she has a real healthy coat which speaks a lot about her overall health.
