Critique Hero's Confo and Lines

Here is his pedigree
Native Hero Thoroughbred
*Note some of these photos are when I was purchasing him he has gain so much weigh since then!

What do you think he be good for? I want to learn dressage so we are working on stretching his neck with some exercises and bending.
He has a lovely headset at the canter (which I can't believe we are doing already) but everything else he is high headed.

He is 15.2 I believe but not sure I'm 5'4..anywho I would love to jump him also but he is older (13) and has never been ridden after he raced which surprises me because he listens so well.

Thanks!!

He is cute!!! From the first pictures i would say his neck dips, but the new pics you have of him, his neck is not as bad, gained that weight and it helped. I think you could jump him, at 13 he is just getting into his prime. I could see lower level dressage in him. I think he could use more muscle, thats about it in my opinion. He is a cute boy =)

quarter horses.....simply the best

I think hes lovely. but yeah looks like he needs a bit more muscle to him. Im sure hes got good potential.

Humans are like Slinkies. Practically useless, but still fun to push down the stairs.

He really needs weight and muscle! I would get him on a really good complete feed plus hay. I wont ever judge the conformation of an underweight horse as the pics show it can be very misleading

Thanks! I'll post photos up after a few months of riding and good eating.
He just learned to crib off his stable buddy so thats another challenge.

The first photos were taking recently with my cell phone so they dont do him justice while the last ones look good he was super skinny there just good "angles"
