Critique: Jumping video

All right, guys. (:

This is my six-year-old thoroughbred, and I've just started to train him to jump. We can canter over the jumps now, but this is just of us trotting. It's better than two minutes, but you don't have to watch the whole thing if you don't want to. OH. And it doesn't start until around 30 seconds because I was there alone and had to set up the camera. It isn't the best, but here you go.

Here's a picture from the side so it's a bit easier to see...

At the fair grounds the day before a show. The footing was terrible enough that I didn't jump the next day.

You both look really relaxed coming into the jump... it'd be easier to critique if you set the video up so its takes the side rather than the front.
I don't jump so I can't really comment, but kudos to you both!

I think you both look great. I'm not a jumper, but the only thing I saw was that you were holding your hands high when you were approaching some of the jumps. Not every time, but at least 2-3 times.
