Critique me and/or my horse

These have all been taken over the past year (sorry nothing very recent next time I get someone to come to the barn with me I will have them take new pics.) We used to event, then did hunter equitation and now want to try dressage (an injury means no more jumping). We are between trainers, and in a bit of a rut, so please suggest things we can be working on for now. I am most concerned right now with getting her to round up and accept the bit, I think we have made progress, but still have some room for improvement.

Riding on the flat (old to most recent)

Thanks for any critique!

I love your name, one of my old mares name was Tequila Sunrise.

As far as improvment you should drop your heel and relax! your lower back looks so dense which is causing your horses back to tense and not round. i still sometimes have this problem bc i have a back problem so just try to think about that and once you relax it will supple your horse and will be more willing to round and give to the bit.

Thank you! She was a freebie who came to us with the name Tipsy because she bucked like a see-saw when she was young. I gave her the name Tequila Sunrise because her coloring reminded me of a sunrise, and Tequila makes us all tipsy!

Thank you for the critique. In these pictures I too noticed my heels are not down enough. I have an old back injury, which is probably what causes it to be so tense, but I will work on stretching and trying to relax it more when I ride. Good advise, thanks!
