I bought this mare about four months ago, she is pregnant, it's not a hay belly. Unfortunatly I don't have any photos of her when she's no preg so please try to work around that. This is mostly for cruiosities' sake, but I was thinking of maybe doing some local halter classes with her. The photos are ones taken shortly after I got her, she has had her feet done since then. Please tell me what you think of her, she is a 9 year old arabian mare who, I am told, has spent the last three years on broodmare duty so forgive the lack of definition. I hope to get her in shape in spring. Let me know what you think, sorry that some of the photos are blurry. My camara sucks. Thanks for your time!!
She's really cute. Good luck getting her in shape. I always find that Arab's are the hardest to trim up. Of course, those were hay bellies. Maybe baby bellies are different. =]
She has a very beautiful arabian head. I will let others comment on the rest. I do know that when I bred my Morab to a big fancy Arabian Sire. The foal came out with a great head, but none of the muscle.
She's gorgeous! Her head is very pretty. She looks just like a horse at my barn (hopefully, she's much nicer than Larah, although, that's not hard to be) She's got that beautiful Hershey color that I <3 so much and what a silky looking mane . . . <3
Thanks for your thoughts everyone! She can be stubborn, but she's a real sweety...especially when I'm holding the magic grain bucket! I'll try to get pictures of her foal up as soon as I get them. She's due sometime in the next few weeks, so I am going a little crazy! I'll make sure to post a thread on him/her when the time comes. Thanks again everyone!
