Critique my Baby's Conformation

Tell me what you think of her. This picture was taken over the summer, but it is the only one I could find of her standing sideways. She is a lot bigger now. Some people have told me that she is going to turn gray, what do you think. Thanks

Hey there

Very cute baby :)

Tis hard to critique at this age though as she will change so much before she's done growing so im not willing to say anything :)

Still cute though ;)

Really cute baby, I too can't say much more than that. I will say she is going to be at least as tall as her mom, she has nice long canon bones. I had a mare that looked just like yours.

I have never had a baby grow up before (had a baby before, but it didn't make it), so I didn't know if you could tell anything from when they are little or not.
Also she doesn't have that light coloring to her anymore and it wasn't really gray it was more of a tan. Do you still think she will turn gray. I have also heard that if they have gray flecks around their eyes they will probably turn gray, is this true? She doesn't have any though.
Thanks guys

Personally, I would say she is way to young, at least in this picture, to critique her conformation. Also since you didn't specify her breed it's even harder to judge her conformation, considering that conformation is different for different breeds. She looks at a good weight and healthy muscling but it is too hard to judge at such a young age. Although kudos on the cute baby.

Hey, I didn't even realize that I didn't state her breed . She is a quarter horse.

Well then for a Quarter Horse I would say she looks very nice and her conformation seems good for her age.

Love your baby. She has wonderful confirmation. Good bone and that rump. WOW Most of all I love her markings. They are so stiking. I believe though that you have a chestnut. I have experienced the light colors, but they go through many changes. I would be very happy with a filly of this color and confirmation. You chose good lines for such a lovely little girl. What I understand is that grey hairs can show up at a young age, each is different.
What is the color of her dad and his parents? Mom' parents colors? How old is the filly in this picture?
