    It looked great for not riding for very long! I wouldnt worry about using a whip and spurs right away though. First I would get your posture correct when asking for a canter. Most horses, especially horses that have some miles on them, will slow down when you become unbalanced. He probably took your cue of leaning forward as you losing your balance since in the video you said" I almost fell off". And when he broke from a canter to a trot you were pulling on the reigns a little which it looks like you have a shank bit, it’s hard to tell from so far away. And with that kind of harsh bit a horse can feel the slightest touch. Which he doesn’t seem happy when you touch his face, with all of his tail swishing and head up so you might want to try a snaffle or something less harsh till you can balance a little more.anyway keep up the good work!
