He has Very high withers, tho isn't a problem it just means that for extra comfort you might want to think about using a polypad or a very thick saddle pad/numna. He's a really stunning boy though! Lovely shiny coat, might want to think about putting on just a little weight (but not neesacerily as he isn't 'under weight') He's really gorgeous! watch out... he might go missing!

I would not call the vet out specifically to check his back, but the next time you have the vet out, I would definitely have it examined for soreness.

We were using a polypad for a while, and it certainly was more comfortable! Unfortunately it wasn't mine, and I moved Jack recently, so I don't have it anymore): Haha thank you very much(: I have been considering bumping up his feed, he's close to ribby, and he deserves to be a bit chunky(;

Thank you for the suggestion, I'll make sure to have the vet check next time she comes out(:
