I really wanted a Clyde x with the big feathery Clyde chrome... until I spent my weekend with a team of pure Clydes I was driving at the fair. Washing the legs every morning, scrubbing out poo stains, combing out the feathers, putting baby powder in them to make them look white. The leg work never ends on them. My horses black legs always look clean!! I appreciate them much more now.
If you are going to be showing, I have a word of advice for you......... Leg wraps!! Keep her wrapped at all times during trailering, and being in her stall at the show!
