    Green Broke

Nicely set neck. Shoulder lays back nicely. Good bone. Flat knees. Wither's carry back into his back.

Toes out in front with his left front rotated quite a bit to the outside. His point of rump truly is pointed.. would prefer a smooth topline that carries from the back over the rump in a smooth upward arc and the point of rump less noticeable.. and further forward into the back which would shorten his back. Straight hind leg (not enough angulation) and he could stand a larger hock joint.

He has a problem a lot of Thoroughbreds share.. the back end (from the flank back) almost looks like a different horse than the front end (from the flank forward).

That being said, if he has a great disposition, a nice reachy trot, and is a pleasure to work with and to ride, he is a good horse. He has no faults that can be seen from these photos that would make him unsound.

I think that this horse's back end is rather small compaired to it's front. Very thin rump, and spindly back legs. Plus, his stomach looks a little bloated. Whether that is just chub or worms, I'm assuming it's not natural.

But he does have a very nice front end! ^^
