I know some of the photos aren't spectacular quality, but those ones were taken with a 2 megapixel camera phone, so arn't expected to be great quality lol

    Thanks guys!!

I'm not a jumper, so won't even go there. :) But I think it's a nice looking horse.

I think in all of the pictures your heel could go more down. In the jumping picture your leg has slid back. I think a little more of a relese too. Cute horse.

I can't really tell from the angle but it kind of looks like you jumped ahead in the jumping pic which has caused your leg to slip back. Other than that you look pretty good.

By the way your pony is adorable.

No, the pictures at the link didn't work. It asks for a log in when you click on it.

I really like your upper body position over the fence. Your back is flat and relaxed, you've got your eyes up, and your body is parallel to his neck. You look comfortable and confident.

Like another poster mentioned, you are jumping ahead, which is causing your lower leg to slide back and your seat to come too high out and in front of the saddle. Concentrate on waiting for you horse to lift you out of the saddle over the jump. Shortening your stirrups at least a hole would tighten up your leg position, making it easier to push your heels down and lock your leg at the girth. Ride lots of 2-point (at walk/trot) with your arms out the side, or at least without leaning any of your weight on your hands. Your release length looks good, but you need to dig into the crest of your horse's neck with your knuckles rather than the heel of your hand.

    Overall you look really good!
