Okay, so I used to have the best jumping position around, don't ask me how. But recently in my lesson's we haven't been jumping big at all so I have got really lazy or something like that because I suddenly just can't jump how I used to. I just kind of stand up over the jump and I don't know how to change it..
I'm one of those people that tries to fix things themselves so I always think to myself over the jump "push your bum back" and "push your hands forward"
It helps a bit, and I've never been one of those people to not give with the hands, but my position just looks atrocious. (can't spell)
So can anyone think of any ways to help me?
This is my jumping position at it's worst:
And then my riding school were doing nothing about it so I started self-teaching as much as possible and this is the best I got:
So anyone have any helpfull tips for me?
(Oh and I do jump bigger than this, I just haven't in a while)
Oh and also does anyone know any tips for sitting up straight, in jumping position and flatwork as well, I tend to lean to the left a bit, don't ask me why!
Thanks a million x
