Critique for my mare

Little scared to post in here, lol. Please no nasty rude comments! :(

A little about "Chava" :

- 9 year old mare
- Around 14 hands
- paint/appaloosa cross
- The people I got her from had her since she was four
- Believed to have foaled only once before

Here are some pictures the day after I got her:

http://www.horseforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=11550

Here she is Now:

She looks a little butt high due to where she is standing,
I promise you. Also, you may notice I cut off some of her mane
and tail, hope it looks better!

What do you think?

It's been awhile, but I'm back & back in the saddle!

I think you posted the thumbnails so it's kinda hard to see, but she does look a bit butt-high. Although it could be the pictures/angle. ;)
I can't really critique too much as the pics are small & I can't see her feet lol.

Ride more, worry less.

she's adorable!

She looks much less of a "wild child" with her new hair cut.

I have no eye for conformation, but i love her! Have tons of fun with her!

Thanks Appy, I don't really know how to critique horses well either, lol!

I love her new look as well!

i like her mane like that!

I think she needs a bit more weight - she looks fairly hippy in the photos. I also like the tail to be docked a bit lower - 2-3 inches above the fetlock.

She's such a cutie...congrats!
