Can you get pics of him squared up? And also what are his bloodlines? Are you planning on doing open shows or breed shows? Very beautiful boy you have.
I will get squared up pics this week and post them. His bloodlines are really good. Father is play red, grandfather is freckles playboy, and great grandfather's are peppy san badger and great pine. Mother is pine embers. Not sure what the difference is between the shows. I'm a beginner so all advice and suggestions are welcome.
To me it looks like he is standing under himself in front and has a short back (maybe) otherwise though he looks lovely. Not sure about ability to do halter as I don't show.
I think he looks good. Also, even if some don't think he is for halter, it is all about the experience for you and him both and just getting out there and doing it! :) He is really gorgeous though! I want to show my 2 year old gelding in halter but I have to work better with his ground manners. I have never shown before and of course neither has he and he has wonderful bloodlines but he is in that goofy stage right now. I just want to do it for the experience though for him and I both because I plan on showing my 2 new weanlings when I get them, so yah, the more experience that we have the better we can help make our horse look also, as in knowing how to square them perfect once you get in there and how to stand, etc. But yah, if I were you, just do it, he is beautiful!! :)
