Smile Critique Possible Buy--Draft mare

My mom never says she wants a horse, she is happy with the horses we have. But....I was randomly searching through ads and found this girl. She's an 11-yr old 16.3hh Draft mare, they don't specify the age but she looks Perch to me. She lives 2 hours and 15 minutes from us. My mom wants to take a trip to see her brother this week, and this horse is on the way there. She is determined we're bringing this horse home. She's been trail ridden the whole time they've owned her and she's $1000. Thoughts?

Fat!! Lol but very pretty! She looks sickle hocked (odd for me because most drafts i've seen were more stretched back than they were straight or sickled...)
She also doesn't appear to stand very straight on her front end (looks like she's leaning forward). This wouldn't matter to me, of course if she were only to be used for pleasure. Looks like a very solid horse ;)Too far off the ground for my taste though lmao!
Looks like a Perch to me too ;)

She's pretty! I love her dapples, and she definitely looks like a percheron.

Horses are like therapy ~ and almost as expensive

Oh dang. Gorgeous! I am also looking into getting a draft, but he's percheron x quarter horse. He's 16.3 and was a failed Amish plow horse... very skittish around his bum... but worth working through.

You said she is 11 but said they didn't specify her age? Did you mean breed?

I'm so busy, I don't know if I've found a rope... or lost my horse...

she's beautiful! Acually she is not sickle hocked, a good draft horse has legs set a litter further under them, sometimes almost cow hocked looking. It's called a set, and is desired because it makes them a more powerful driving horse.
