Critique! This time I have conformation pics....

From today, Gracie....

She is dirty because I didn't have time to groom her, the rain was coming in soon. Please, be harsh. I want to know how she looks. She has a pretty face, with a 'flame' (some pics of her head are posted to show you this). Gracie doesn't look too fat, does she? She is full Quarter Horse, and is currently being trail ridden, this fall she will be started on barrels.

(The cutie in the background in the 5th pic is my sister's mini donkey, U-Turn)

I actually quite like hos she is put together she looks useful. Nice powerful hind as well. For some reason I don't like how her neck attaches to her shoulder I can't figure out why.
She has a decen head though. She is a little narrow in front for me but I like big chests! I don't think she looks to fat but she could do with more hind muscle

It looks like her back legs are even in the back end shot so the only explanation for the uneven hips is that there is an issue there. She looks to me like she has was it sometimes called a dropped down hip.

This might explain some of the bucking issues you had.

Not sure what a 'flame' is so can not comment on that.

I agree. It might be the shape of her neck? I am not sure.

She looks pretty well put together. I am pretty sure the thing with her neck is she has tall Withers and a low set neck.

No. I do not think so. I am used to that look. Very common with TBs.

It think it has more to do with her very upright shoulder and the bump in her neck in front of the dip in her neck.

From the front her feet do not look too long but from the side her toes look scary. I suppose it could be her sloped pasterns that make her feet look long.

I think she means blaze. Flame, blaze, they're both fire words, right?

Very short neck and upright shoulder. Weird bump on her neck before her withers, which looks very strange.

Not crazy about those long front pasterns, either.

She's certainly no rock star show horse, but for a backyard trail horse, she's fine.

All I can comment on is super-duper long toes, get her feet trimmed!

*still chuckling about the flame/blaze thing*
