Talking Critique Wren and I's Flatwork and Jump work ! :)

Hello everyone! I've been riding Wren, a 16.1 3/4 thoroughbred 1/4 Percheron for about six months now and it's crazy how much she's improved! She used to spook at least three times a ride, and would always be very forward. I hope our improvement together shows! Please critique as much as possible, all we're looking for is more improvement :)

I've got two videos to look at here:

Thank you so much !

Sorry for double-posting, but I also thought I should mention I've been riding for about 8 years now (5 days a week).

I can't tell you if you've improved because I haven't seen a Before video, but you two sure look good together! He makes those fences seem effortless!

I don't think that she wanted you to let her know how much she's improved, but to tell her what she can improve on more.

He knows when you're happy He knows when you're comfortable He knows when you're confident And he always knows when you have carrots.

Count your strides in between fences. The first two fences should have had either five long strides or six high tempo short strides - you appeared to take 5 1/2 strides and jumped the second jump a little unbalanced.

Make sure you have a strong core and watch that your head doesn't bounce around too much in between jumps. Shoulders back a bit.

That's all I have as I could only get the vidoe to load the first half. Keep up the good work though!

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.
