Critque please :)

okay well this video is crap.... but it's the only one I have been able to get.
I had to put it on a pole, so I am only actually in the video for about half the time... and it's far away, but please do your best :)
And I am pretty sure I make some funny facial expressions... so ignore them lol

Hopefully that works....

The first thing I see is his lazy walk. Push him forward and ask him to be more active in his walk - just because it is a walk doesn't mean he can dawdle along at any old pace. Don't worry though, I think a lazy walk is a good thing in a TB, is he off the track?

The transition from trot to canter was really nice. He didn't speed up his trotting, he went straight into a canter. Good job :)

Mods, grant me the serenity to see the opinions I cannot change, courage to change the ones that should change, and the wisdom to spot the trolls.

Some tips:

1. Elbows bent and at your sides ( I have the same problem haha ;)
2. Legs steady, heels down, maybe shorten your stirrups a hole?
3. At the canter, hands still and go with the movement, but not drastically

Redtree,
I could not see enough to give you a fair critique. Try again and stay in a smaller circle close to the camera's range, ok? Sorry.

haha thanks everyone for trying, I thought I would at least give it a go and see what people say :)

Chiilaa-hes walk is the laziest ever, that is actually a pretty good walk for Buzz lol, I try and push him forwards but if I am doing it I have to tap each stride. That trot canter transition took for ever to master, thanks for that :)

EquusPeace-thanks :) I was told to lengthen my stirrups to that level by my an instructor... as before my knees weere to high, I did drop it two holes so maybe one up?

TinyLily-when I took it I didn't relize how far it looked and because I did it at the end of my ride Buzz was bugered and so was I, so I couldnt take it again, but next time I am definitely just going to focus on the closest part of the arena and move the camera so it can see me very well :)

I look forward to that. I always love to see people's videos of themselves. It makes them seem alive and real. I have no one to video me either, and our weather is really wet and icky now. But I swear on my first born son I AM going to get a video of me and put it up for critique. It's just that I am not a young chickypoo like you guys . . . And about twice your size!
