Red face Critty Savannah? Please[:

Kudos to anyone attempting - they're horrible confo pics .

All comments welcomed!

Savannah - 1998 Mare. 12.2 hh.
Broke to ride both English & Western.
People have told me she is Shetland, Hackney, Welsh, and Icelandic.. I have no idea.. She is gaited (Pics to prove it.). And her color! She roans lightly in the summer.

I KNOW she toes out horribly. I also would like to know about riding, how weak her legs look, if there may be any soundness issues from being over worked? She usually does not get heavily ridden, once a month in a saddle, with cantering and jumping, and once a week bareback, mild trotting. She gets fed about 1 cup of Triple Crown Complete, since it's winter.

I included a picture of her vulva - if there is any way to tell if she's been bred before?

With out further adieu, here's my girl, Gunpowder & Lead .

Is there something wrong with her eye?

I wanna say she's a dark bay roan, but with the color around her muzzle, just a brown?

This is how she normally stands. -_-

Vulva pic - also good for coloring.

Her back. Those aren't saddle sores, and if they are she has had them since I bought her.

She WOULD NOT square.. At all.

Sorry for all the back leg pictures, I thought I had one of her front but I guess not. Please give me all the help you can, I want to teach her this summer how to cut and rope. Thanks!

You need to try again.

Have someone or you hold the horse, someone else take the picture. Get a good straight on picture from the front, side and back. You need to be level with the horse, not above it, not below it.

What I can see so far, but it could be bad camera angle is very small back, very sloped rump, cowhocked in the back. Looks like she's got a short neck, but that could be her just trying to look at what you are doing. Can't help you with the 'has she been bred question', not a mare owner.

A lot of horses I've seen with the white spots in that area are saddle sores, but it could be something else.

Get better pictures and you can get some responses.
