Talking FFA Horse Judging

This weekend I went to the Florida State Fair and competed in a FFA horse juding preliminaries (if you get top 15 you go to state , and if you win state you go to nationals) Yeah its pretty big. Anyways I went and judged halter and western pleasure, morgans, to hunt seat and took a written exam. Out of 320 seinors I placed 19th! I was sooo happy our team placed 32nd out of 80 (the coach was slacking a little this year). But unfortuantly we did not win state as we have in the past. But I have 3 more years ahead of me! I think I am going to be a Judge when I grow up now (aside being a middle school Ag teacher/FFA Advisor , and a Equine Dentist in the summer).Overall it was a fun and learning experience :)
