    I love to see a good barefoot horse, keeps their hooves so much stronger and it definitely suits her.
    It is indeed.
    I'm sure I'm going to be battered by criticisms for my posts... oops!
    Anyway, good luck with the farrier, be sure to post some pictures so we can see any changes :)

    Her toes look long & I believe the hoof angle is lower than her pastern angles but that should be an easy fix.
    She's a lovely mare. You're very lucky, keep up the good work

    I would bring the whole front foot angle back a bit. Toes are little long. Bringing the whole angle a little more upright will allow more heel to grow.
