Gymnastics! - working on my position

So I tried really hard to keep my hands up this time and releasing. Let me know how I did! Thank you in advance.

I do notice that after the jump my hands drop right back down to her withers! Oh well, back to work on that!

You did very well!!! Your release was perfect and you make it look so easy! Which is a good thing :)
I love your horse!

Aw thank you! I guess that's a good thing. I'm far from perfect though, I know I still have lots to work on.

Remember to bend at your hips just alittle more, and stay in one position through the poles, over the fence, and inside the one stride. I wouldn't necessarily say your throwing your body, but there is motion. Also, make sure you press into the neck during your release, and continue pressing in the landing, you are sitting up just alittle early. A good exercise is to keep your hands pressed into the neck one-two strides after the fence. As the fences get higher, make sure you release further up her neck, instead of a short release, unless she doesn't back off towards the jump, if you ask her to. Video isn't the best for seeing this, but make sure you look up alittle sooner when coming to the first crossbar. I like your leg & shoulders! Good job! (:

Thank you so much. Everything you said sounds familiar, so I suppose it's just back to work! I will try keeping my release after the jump, hopefully that will help. Thanks again.

Omg look at the orbs in those pictures!!! Hahah sorry in not one off those weird people that believe in ghosts or anything ( I was talking about orbs lately) but there are orbs in that picture.

I don't know much about jumping so my opinion doesn't have much use but I think you looked great and relaxed. Looks like fun :)

Far less mysterious, we were in the indoor arena- hence a lot of dust & dirt in the air!

Thank you both! I love jumping, so it is always fun, especially when there is something I can work on.
