Is he disunited or does he get the full change?(video)

I praticed figure 8 lead changes with Diesel today, it felt like he got the full change but looking at the video im not sure for some reason its just hard for me to tell so I would like others opinions just to see if there correct :)
Its his first time and He doesn't usually do his changes, only on one side in the corners :p

Thanks a ton :)

VIDEO: Im really sorry its hard to see because of the window :(

It looks to me like he completely changed, but it's hard to tell because of the light blaring in on the camera :P try taking another vid from the left or right walls so there is no glare, and it will be closer. I am currently trying to train my greenie to do the same thing, but over poles for now :) if I may ask, how long did it take you to get him to do this?

Hahaha okay, thanks :) I was just wondering, I guess some horses figure it out faster than others, he looks nice btw, not rushing into them or anything

It looked like the first time he got the front legs first, then switched the back. That's what my horse does sometimes—it feels like 2 bumps instead of one.

He is getting the full change on most of them. One or two were hard to really tell, but even though the hind legs weren't that obvious, you can tell by which hip moves into the stride first. It's rare that a horse will crossfire by switching the hind lead and not the front; typically it occurs the other way around when lead changing. Since your horse is nailing his hind leads, it is almost guaranteed that he is also getting his front leads, and therefore executing a nice, smooth flying change.

It certainly appears that he got them...a better vid would tell us for sure though, but he does appear to have gotten them.
