I'm new to the forum and I wanted to see what you guys think of Bella she is a 16hh OTTB, her registered name was alyrunj(although I don't have her papers she came from the kill pen), we are training her for dressage but right now we are just doing basics, this is not me riding her as i'm a chicken and have only walked on her(i'm a western rider normally and I haven't really ridden in 3 years so i'm out of shape) But what do you think of Bella's movements, do you think she will make a decent dressage horse?
These videos are from a few weeks ago and she is even much improved from them, but my battery died in my camera and I can't find my charger, so I can't get any new videos at the moment

She looks lovely, but then again I've never met a TB I didn't like. Her walk is a bit choppy and her trot is a little uneven, but she's got a nice look to her. Just work your way up the training scale in order. Rhythm first, then relaxation. She looks like she's already accepting contact, so just get those first two things down and she should move along fairly quickly I'd think. Have fun with her. Pretty Bella.

Make slowing her gaits down your main focus. She needs to listen to the posting of her rider, and the rider shown seems to be encouraging a fast trot which is not what she should be working on, IMO.

I agree with everyone else. She looks kinda stiff so work on making her supple.
