So i'm terrible at telling good points from bad points in how horses are built so when i look at whiskey i automatically think she's built rather well (i'm most likely biased haha ) so i'd like you guys to lift the wool from my eyes and point out her bad bits, as well as her good bits and tell me how they would effect her movement etc.
She's just turned 11, she's 14'2 and her breed is unrecorded.

I'm going to say that she maybe toes in looking at these pictures, but i think it's possibly due to needing a farrier visit!
also maybe a short back? haha i really don't know!

The first thing about your mare that grabs my eye is her nice stocky build and short back. She has a sturdy but athletic look to her. Her neck is a good length but a little thick and cresty even despite her overall stocky build. From what I can see she has good chest depth and a nice high neck set. In these three pictures she appears a bit over at the knee to me. I like where her knees sit but her hocks are a little high. She has good sized knees and hocks, I like the angle of her back legs, her gaskin muscle could be a bit bigger for her size. She has a intelligent, kind look, her head suits her. If I had to guess she looks like she has some draft breeding. Another guess would be that she is not an overly smooth ride however as I've stated I love her stocky look.

Thanks for you're input, it's really interesting to hear what other people see.
i agree about her neck although i've only really just started noticing it in pictures.
I posted another thread about what people thought her breeding might be and alot of people seen some draft in her, which i really like the idea of :) i do like horses with a bit of bone haha.
As for how smooth she is you're bang on, she's Very bouncy, and fast paced most of the time, but to be honest i love her for it, im so used to riding her paces its a second nature too me.
