Anyone? I'v been jumping for a week. Gotta love camp!

Biggest thing I can see is more release, you are really tight on the horses mouth.

I agree with masatisan that you need to release more. That way the horse can use their body more to make it over the jump. It looks like you might be falling back into the saddle a little early in the second picture, but it could just be that you've taken a deep seat in that picture. You look like you have a really solid position, especially for only have been jumping for one week!

You're doing well for having only had a week's worth of jump lessons. I agree with the others to release more.

Thanks so much guys. The horse always rushes the jumps so I was told to really hold him back and he'd still do ok. He isnt mine or I would be working on that.
