jumping critique

these are from an event i recently went to. and i know i need to not let me leg slide back as much. any critique is great! thanks!! and some are just there because i think they were cute :)

Okay, first off... Im in love with your horse, haha.

Anyways, two things that I really noticed (besides the leg swinging) is that your looking down and that you need to sink into your heels more.

For the eyes, I would suggest working in the jumper ring. When your jumping stare up at something that is high up. One of my old lease horses was trained to stop if you looked at the jump. It pulls your uppper body forward and makes a lot of people become unbalanced. So just look up and ahead.

As for the heels. Really focuse on sinking your weight into them and keeping your calf relaxed, but strong. I do that and it keeps my heels way down and relaxed. When your heels are down, it will make you feel as though your stirrups are a bit to long, so you might need to shorten your stirrups a hole or two.
